Hope-1 month

She's so tiny compared to Grace with this puppy!

1 whole year!

Hard to believe that a year has passed already. Grace is so big it's hard to believe she's only a year old. Shes walking and talking already. She walks everywhere. Goes up and down the stairs like it's a game. She loves her baby sister and gives her kisses all the time. You can tell she's going to be protective of her.
Grace truly was shown just how spoiled she was for her birthday and Christmas this year. Our living room is bursting at the seams with all the toys she received. There are points throughout the day where we can't even walk around without stepping on toys. Her favorite toy is her big playhouse she gets such a kick out of it. She's such a little grown up.

My baby is getting so big

I can't believe that my baby is already 7 months old. She's getting so big. She even has her first tooth! She is just under 19lbs and she's 27.5 inches long. I cant believe how quickly time goes by. My new little girl will be here in 4 months! I couldn't be happier.

A much needed update

Gracie:
My beautiful little girl is almost 6 months old. I can't get over how
big she's getting. At her 4 month check up she was 16lbs and 26inches.
She loves to roll over now she goes both ways back to tummy and tummy
to back. She is a huge fan of food. (she must get that from me). She
loves the oatmeal cereal and we haven't really found a fruit or veggie
that she doesn't like so far. Anytime we're eating she opens her mouth
hoping you're going to give it to her. She has realized all the noises
she can make now. She whines, yells, and babbles all the time now. She
has the cutest biggest smiles ever. I love it. She is decinitely
teething and we can't wait for them to come in, she gets so crabby
when they are botheringher She goes back for her 6 month check up in
a couple weeks and we'll have more updates.

Baby #2:
We had our first doctor appointment on June 1st. We had an ultrasound
that day also. Baby 2 looks great. He/she is super active already. I'm
16 weeks now, and we go back to the doctor on the 29th and we will get
the script to schedule our 20 week ultrasound. My official due date is
novemeber 30th.

I'm 5 months old!!

Some new news...

So I wasn't sure how to tell everyone this, so I decided we post
everything else here...so why not. John and I are expecting baby #2 in
November. Before anyone asks...NO THIS WAS DEFINITELY NOT PLANNED. and
yes I know how to prevent it and we did. I don't have much else. I
don't go see the dr until June 1st. When I get more info I'll post it
on here.

I'M 3 MONTHS OLD!!

Grace's Christening

We had Grace's christening yesterday, and what was supposed to be a
gloomy day turned out to be a beautiful sunshiney day! :)
We had our closest family and friends with our for her big day. The
service was beautiful and it just showed us again just how loved Grace
really is. The love that everyone showed her is truly a blessing. We
named her Aunt Jackie and Uncle Mikey as her Godparents.
She is now laughing, cooing and smiling all the time! It is absolutely
adorable. She also seems to be starting her wonderful teething, their
obviously not ready to come through, but she is uncomfortable and cam
definitely feel them.
All in all, I have loved spending every minute with her and in 3 weeks
I will have to go back to work. And it will be the hardest thing to
have to leave her. Other than that we're just enjoying the time we
have and hoping the weather warms up so we can get out of the house.
She loves walks in her stroller so she can look around at everything.

Gracie's first cold

Poor Gracie for her first cold. Thursday night she kept gaging and
coughing. Friday morning she was a little warm and her cough was
worse. I woke up with a super sore throat. I called the dr and we went
to see him. We found out that we had upper respiratory infections. I
think mine is more in my sinuses. Poor Gracie has a bad cough now that
makes her sick. I feel so bad for her and there's nothing I can really
do for her. My sinuses throb and my cough is pretty bad too. I'm
hoping my poor baby will be better soon. It's so hard to see her like
this.

I'm 2 months old!

2 month well check

My baby is 2 months old already! I can't believe how much times flies.
She had her 2 month check up today. She is 12lbs even and 23.25 inches
long. She's getting so big so fast. She got her first round of
immunizations today. She was such a trooper. She cried a little at the
first shot and started screaming for the second. That of course made
me cry too. It was definitely hard to see her in pain. As soon as
they were done I picked her up and cuddled her. She calmed down
shortly after that.
She's such a good girl. She smiles all the time at all of us. She even
sticks her tongue out at us. She also gets a kick out of it if you
stick yours out at her. She la grabbing at things and reaching for
things. She loves the rattles that hang on the car seat. We call then
her friends, she talks to them and swats at them and smiles at them.
She's such a sweetheart. We could ask for anything more. We love her
so much.

I can't believe how big she is.

She's such a big girl. Smiling at things, recognizing mommy and
reaching for things too. I can't believe how big she's getting so
quickly. She talks all the time now. And she absolutely loves being
naked on the changing table. Time is flying by and soon I'll be going
back to work. :(

1 month ago...

Grace joined us. I can't believe she's 1 month old already! She had
her 1 month check up on Friday and weighed 9lbs 7oz and was 22 inches
long. She's getting so big, and looks so different from when she was
born. Time is flying by. She seems to have her days and nights a
little backwards most days, but we're working on that. We got a pretty
decent routine, which is a little difficult to stick to on the
weekends. She's a great baby though, I really can't complain. I mean
I'd love more sleep, but I know eventually we'll get there. :)

Grace update

So Grace got sick last week. She had a mild case of conjunctivitis. It was horrible to see her like that. She would scream because she couldn't open her eye. It would get stuck shut. :(
She was put on antibiotics and it got a lot better. We took her to the dr on Friday for her 2 week checkup. Her eye was so much better! She weighed in at 8lbs 6oz! That's a whole pound since she was born. Dr said that was good. She was headed in the right direction. This week started the first days of mommy and Grace time. Daddy officially went back to school. It's been going pretty well. I've enjoyed the time with her and I'm definitely getting used to laying down and relaxing when she sleeps, now I've just gotta try to sleep. I'm sure that'll come easier soon.
We go back to the doctor on the 22nd, so I'll update with any progress then. :)
