Busy Summer & a lot to report!

We have had quite the busy summer here. I worked summer school; which was hard, but extra money is always worth it. It was hard to continue to leave the girls, but it was only half days so we figured it'd be ok. John was finally offered a job. Good news/bad news kind of situation. He was offered a job in his field <----GOOD NEWS! IN TEXAS! <---BAD NEWS! John has been in Texas since the end of July. It has been hard to be here with the girls without him. He finally found a place for us to live a few weeks ago. So he moved in there on September 1st. The girls and I will be leaving for Texas on September 23rd. It's really hard to think about leaving my whole family up here. I know it's for the best monetary wise, but unfortunately I'm afraid how it will be down there. Thankfully, we're only planning to stay down there for about a year. Then we're desperately hoping John finds a job back up here so we can come back to family.

PHEW! So after all that the girls got to go on 2 vacations this summer. Both were road trips! EEK! What were we thinking right? First vacation was Frankenmuth, MI. It was a nice relaxing vacation that John got to join us on. YAY! The second vacation was DISNEY WORLD!! It was so fun. The drive...not so much. Hope was miserable during parts of the drive. Like the mountains! She hated the mountains. Once we got to disney the girls had a blast. I was so excited to be able to have fun and relax.

Being a stay at home mommy is a lot harder than anyone ever says. I worked with kids with severe disabilities and sometimes being a SAHM is 100 times harder! That's crazy to me.

I wouldn't change being home with the girls. I've waited 2 years to be able to be home with them. I also miss adult conversations though. I'm hoping to find some mommies down in Texas for playdates. Maybe :) So...that pretty much brings us up to date.

Bronners in Frankenmuth, MI

Michigan vacation!

8 months old!

Hope's getting so big so fast! I can't believe she's already 8 months old.
We took the girls on their first vacation to Frankenmuth, MI. They got to swim and go on a horse drawn carriage. It was a lot of fun. Next month they'll be going to DISNEY!!!! exciting. The next couple months will be interesting, John got a job in Dallas so he leaves today. While the girls and I will be here in IL. So that's sad for us. Other than that same old same old here.

My little drama queen

Here's Grace at her finest. She's my little drama queen. She wanted something was told no and this is the immediate reaction we get. :)

Such a big girl already

Hard to believe Hope is almost 3 months old! She's getting so big. She talks all the time and gives mommy big smiles. She's also realized she can stick her tongue out which is her favorite thing to do. She loves to talk, especially to her big sister. And Gracie love to talk back to her and give her kisses. It's the cutest thing ever.

Gracie and her big girl chair! She was in heaven when we put her in that chair. It was the cutest thing. Now she lounges in it watching tv. It's adorable. She's such a big girl!

2 months old

I can't believe Hope is 2 months old already! She's 12 lbs even and 22 3/4 inches long! She's pretty much the same size grace was at that age. She's just half an inch shorter than Grace was. So I'm gonna have two tall monsters on my hands.
